- The Group reports net sales of SEK 205.1 (215.2) million, an operating loss of SEK -8.6 (-1.1) million and a loss of SEK -13.3 (-3.8) million after financial items.
- A loss of SEK -9.8 (-2.8) million after tax was recorded, resulting in earnings per share of SEK -1.43 (-0.41) after tax. Shareholders’ equity per share was SEK 31.91 (38.89).
- The weaker results than in the same period last year were above all attributable to weaker prices for sawn timber. In addition, profits were affected by recognised exchange rate differences of SEK -1.1 (4.3) million, insurance claim payments of SEK 0 (0.5) million and market valuation of electricity certificates at SEK -0.6 (1.4) million.
- The operating result was boosted by SEK 1.2 (0) million from the sale of an office property at the sawmill facility at Järnforsen.
- Cash flow from day-to-day operations totalled SEK 14.8 (-5.2) million. The positive cash flow was mainly attributable to a reduction in the amount of capital tied up as working capital.
- Production of sawn timber fell by 12 percent during the first quarter, compared with the same period last year. The decrease arose through disruption of the raw material flow and termination of sawmill operations at the Järnforsen facility. Towards the end of the period under review, the raw material flow improved considerably. The volumes processed at the timber protection company Bitus exceeded those of the preceding year by 25 percent.
- Deliveries of sawn timber were in line with those of the previous year.
