| PERFORMANCE |
The fire-protection agent reacts at a flashpoint above 250 degrees and cools down the heat to prevent fire from penetrating the wood. No salt precipitation. |
| FASTENERS |
Normal fasteners for indoor and outdoor conditions. The solvent is not corrosive. |
| PAINTING |
Can be painted. The product is delivered factory-primed in white or grey for outdoor conditions. Final paint-finish in NCS or alternatively RAL colour can be offered at special request. |
| MAINTENANCE |
Maintenance outdoors is only needed for the top-coat. |
| STORAGE |
The product is to be stored like other construction wood, under cover, dry and airy. |
| WASTE & DISPOSAL |
The product is handled in the same way as any other painted construction wood. |
| AREA OF USE |
Bitus Firex™ is used for both indoor and outdoor conditions. For outdoor environments, the product is primed and painted to protect against the leakage of fluid through the action of the sun, wind and weather. |
