Mörlunda
In Mörlunda, mainly spruce products are produced, primarily for the main markets Denmark, The Netherlands, Great Britain and Sweden. About 65 percent of the deliveries are processed further.
There are two saw lines, one for normal timber and one for small timber. The normal line is operated in one shift, while the small line is operated in two shifts, The total capacity in those three shifts is about 100,000 m3 per year.
The normal lines timber intake was upgraded in 2003. The gauging station and timber sorting at the saw mill was rebuilt in 2002.
During 2008, a completely new planing mill was taken into full operation. A large part of the planed wood products is graded by strength directly in the line using a Dynagrade. Further processing is possible with the help of packing and exact cutting. In order to increase the efficiency in the drying process a new double channel drier was taken into operation in February 2010. The normal line was in 2011 equipped with a new sorting machine "tray sorter". In 2012 a new rough sorting plant was taken into operation.
Briquettes are also produced in Mörlunda.
